Family Fishing Day Makes a Splash

Our annual Fishing Day at Redbridge Lakes, welcomed more than 50 families for a relaxed, fun filled day by the water. From the moment everyone arrived, the lakeside came alive with excited children and plenty of eager first-time anglers setting up along the banks.
The shoreline was full of smiles, tangled lines and light-hearted moments as families learned, laughed and tried their luck together. Every catch, whether tiny or surprisingly impressive, earned cheers from across the water, and every “almost!” quickly turned into a story that grew a little more dramatic each time it was shared.
Some spent the morning mastering their technique, while others simply enjoyed the chance to slow down, take in the scenery and make memories side by side.
Events like this remind us why Fishing Day has become such a highlight each year. It brings families together, encourages new experiences and celebrates the simple joy of being outdoors at the lake.
