Alan Bloom Steps In as Chair of Trustees

The Children’s Grief Charity is pleased to announce the appointment of Alan Bloom, Trustee of The Children’s Grief Charity since 2021, as the new Interim Chair of Trustees following the departure of Harold Gittelmon.
Alan brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our mission of supporting bereaved children and their families. His appointment is effective as of August 2023.
With an impressive leadership background, and more than 30 years’ experience operating at board level, we are confident that Alan will provide exceptional leadership and guidance to The Children’s Grief Charity as we continue to grow and expand our services. We are excited to work alongside him in our collective effort to provide support to families experiencing grief.
As the new Chair of Trustees, Alan will play a vital role in shaping The Children’s Grief Charity’s future and ensuring the charity remains at the forefront of grief support. His leadership will be instrumental in fostering innovation, strengthening partnerships, and driving our mission forward.
