A Heartwarming Milly Day

In May families supported by The Children’s Grief Charity came together for a special day called Milly Day, a joyful gathering hosted at a beautiful private home along the River Thames.
The event was filled with activities for all ages, creating a lively and heartwarming atmosphere. Children and parents took part in arts and crafts, enjoyed a scenic boat ride, and spent time meeting friendly animals at the petting zoo. With a swimming pool to cool off in and an ice cream van serving treats throughout the afternoon, the warm sunny weather made the day feel even more special.
Most importantly, Milly Day offered families a chance to unwind in a safe, supportive environment — sharing moments of joy, building new memories and strengthening connections with one another. It was a truly meaningful day, filled with laughter, comfort and togetherness.
