“Why It Matters” Up for Smiley Charity Film Award
29 November 2023
We are thrilled that “Why It Matters”, our latest film, released during Children’s Grief Awareness Week (CGAW), which shows what a difference, the right support, from the right people at the right time, has on bereaved children and young people who suddenly find themselves facing the death of someone who matters it them. It is nominated for a prestigious Smiley Charity Film Award. But now we need your help to make us a finalist and raise awareness even further of ‘Why It Matters’.
Voting for the Smiley Charity Film Awards, known for recognizing outstanding films that raise awareness and support for charitable causes, is now officially open and The Children’s Grief Charity is honoured to be amongst other amazing nominees.
“We believe every acknowledgment, every word of support, and every different way it help, matters and changes children’s lives positively. At The Children’s Grief Charity, we are dedicated to understanding and embracing every child’s grief as unique, so that we help children and young people to find hope and healing” Suzy Turner-Jones, CEO.
To help us reach the finalist stages and raise awareness even more about Why it Matters, please vote for us and support The Children’s Grief Charity’s mission, to ensure no child is left to grieve alone.
